Grey, Blue

Blue:

  1. My mother is American - she was originally born in Washington DC
  2. My grandfather ran a hotel in Washington DC, which my mother ended up working for alongside her brother. She met my father at a Christmas party
  3. That same grandfather ended up retiring in Tangiers (I think, anyway)
  4. When my mother first moved over here she and my father stayed in a caravan by my grandmother’s farm for the first few weeks. She wasn’t very impressed :U
  5. My father used to be a chef in the air force. During that time, he’s gone overseas to the Falklands and Ascension Islands, and as a family we’ve lived in Berlin for a few years at the air base there (it’s now closed)
  6. My mother on the other hand got a degree in Political Science. She kinda of lost interest in when Reagan got elected though
  7. My grandparents met at the US equivalent of Bletchley Park, decoding Japanese messages during WWII, although my grandmother didn’t know this at the time.
  8. My grandfather later worked for the Interstate Commerce Commission and wrote a paper on Automatic Data Processing
  9. My sister is currently studying teaching and will probably end up doing a Masters at Newport.
